BIOGRAPHY

Myriam Quiel is a German-Iranian artist, born on November 3rd, 1974. From 1998 to 2003 she studied Painting at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Hans-Peter Adamski, graduating with a Diploma in 2003. Until 2008 Myriam Quiel lived as a freelance artist in Berlin. In search of her origin, she embarked on her first trip to Tehran in 2007. In 2008 she moved to Tehran where she lived with her husband and daughter until 2016. Since 2017 she has been living and working near Frankfurt am Main. Myriam Quiel has been featured in numerous international solo and group exhibitions. Additionally since 2018 she has been working as an artist for the Luxury Label Louis Vuitton.
